Tim Styles is a modern-day troubadour. Born and raised in the arrowhead range of northern Minnesota, his music captures his down to earth straightforward upbringing. He has released five albums of original music and has played some of the most iconic venues in the United States, Including the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN and The Whiskey a Go-Go in Hollywood, CA.
When Tim isn’t touring, he resides on 40 acre ranch in rural New Mexico, where he and his wife raise Alpacas.
The quality and content of his songwriting lets the listener into a world where following your dreams isn’t make-believe – it’s necessary.
Bob Tobin was born, raised, and still live in the Charleston, South Carolina area. Became serious about my music around 1980 with both performing and writing. Played in several bands through the years and did a duo with my wife for around 35 years.
I've played my music in many countries and most of the 50 States, including Alaska. I've played a number of songwriter festivals including the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama and the very prestigious Jim Parker Series in Huntsville, Alabama.
Most recently, one of the songs that I cowrote went to #1 on the Bluegrass Charts. It was recorded by Larry Sparks and the name of the song is "Way Back When". It is also the name of Mr. Sparks new album!
The greater part of my working life was spent on the salt waters of this earth having been in the US Coast Guard for 4 years, a tugboat captain, commercial fisherman, and a Marine Contractor. Many of my songs reflect my time on the water.
